In the six years I’ve been in Berlin I’ve never seen so much snow. There have been a few winters with a fair amount of accumulation spread out over a few dumpings, but it just piles up, freezes, and disappears in the spring. I might be wrong, but it seems like it has snowed every day of December so far, which is exceptionally rare, in my opinion. My gripe with Berlin winters isn’t the cold or the perpetually gray skies, but rather the lack of snow. This year it seems like it’s starting a bit differently and I couldn’t be happier.
Don’t forget to check out Überlin’s guide to surviving winter in Berlin, which I did some illustrations for.

Whoa crap, that looks awesome!
Took me a few seconds to understand, I thought maybe the third panel was cthulhu.
pretty excellent.
it took me a few seconds to understand as well.
more snow that vermont!
one of your best yet(i)!
Nice drawing
I love it!! And it reminds me that I haven’t made a snow comic yet. Maybe if I don’t acknowledge its existence it’ll go away….!
Haha, I was waiting for like 2mins for the pictures to load… duh.
But I must say that my first winter in Berlin, 2 years ago hat way much more snow…
brilliant. also loving the montreal style snow vibes.
It was low 50s in Rochester, NY yesterday and we’ve only had one day that snow actually stuck to the ground. Some schools around Dallas, TX were closed because of snow yesterday. It is going to be a strange winter everywhere.
Also, loved the comic once I figured it out!
Beautiful!
This really reminds me of Winnipeg… Or as some call it, Winterpeg.
Reminds me of the kinds of risks that Bill Waterson was taking with his panels.
