Stephanie and I have different shaped pillows so there isn’t any overlap in our pillow case situation. We had two pillow cases that fit mine, but for some reason they both got shredded in my sleep. I’m still not sure exactly how that happened, but since then I’ve been using t-shirts as pillow cases. In turn, I’ve become enlightened to the scam that is the pillow case industry. It’s a little-known fact that pillow cases are just rejected t-shirt with the arm- and neck-hole removed. Don’t be a sucker. Wise up and stop throwing your hard-earned money into the pillow case money pit. Just use old t-shirts.

oohh! great idea for t-shirts that you don’t want to get rid of for sentimental reasons but no longer wear!. Also, i love the confusion of bedding while waking up half asleep in the middle of the night. Most disorienting stuff ever. One time I woke up with my blankets and sheets upside down (sheet on top, blankets in exact order reversed) from how I went to sleep.
