I’m once again dealing with visa woes, which is especially frightening considering my current employment situation. I’m teetering on the edge of being eligible for a very attractive residence and working permit though after yesterday’s meeting I felt completely crushed. Thankfully a good buddy talked me down and I also got some got some desperately needed paperwork in line that I had given up on. I’m going to try to apply for the über-awesome visa and working permit on Monday, but I honestly have no idea how it’ll go. In either case, my circumstances are much better today than they were yesterday and even if things don’t go exceedingly well on Monday I’ll still have some wiggle room.
Just to be clear, there was never any danger of immediate expulsion from Germany, though that never seems too far away when dealing with the visa and working permit office.

Oh god! Visa woes….I’m so sorry to hear about that. I know what it’s like…I’ll be crossing all my fingers and sending lots of good vibes for Monday. But sucky situation aside, brilliant comic!
